Apron front kitchen sink

Sinks with protruding ‘exposed’ fronts called granite aprons are not common but now-days increasingly gain in popularity. They not only stand out from the aesthetic point of view – prominently showcasing the front of the granite sink – but they also improve usability. You stand as close to the sink as possible without any fear of damaging the countertop or furniture doors shielding it from direct contact with water. Granite that is a mixture of quartz and resin will make the full length of the furniture front resistant to scratches, discoloration, dents and marks. That also goes for any contact with hot temperatures up to 250 degrees. The front can be easily cleaned.

At the moment Komodo series of the Laveo brand are the only such models on the Australian market.

Moreover, the Space Saving drain trap is in the standard equipment of this model. That allows for more space underneath the sink for waste bins or organisers.

Apron-front sinks are for people who like unusual solutions as well as for those who like to cook and spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
